Larry Schor | President & Chief Executive Officer
Prior to being appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of MDI in August 2011, Larry Schor was the Strategy & Corporate Development Officer for Verisk Health, a Verisk Analytics company (NASDAQ:VRSK). Verisk Health provides health care payers with enterprise analytics, predictive modeling, and a comprehensive suite of pre-payment, clinically validated fraud and abuse prevention solutions. Previously, Mr. Schor was Managing Director of the Ansley Capital Group, LLC, a licensed financial advisement and management consulting firm specializing in sell-side M&A for middle-market healthcare technology and service companies. Prior to joining Ansley, Mr. Schor served as the Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer for CoreSource, Inc., the second largest third party administrator of employee benefits and workers compensation in the country, and the leading developer of self-funded healthcare networks. The Company processed claims for 1,200 self-funded employers and developed and managed 140 networks (55,000 physicians and 500 hospitals) covering 300,000 lives on behalf of 38 Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Schor began a career in medical informatics in the early 1980s, rising from business analyst to become the President and Chief Executive Officer of Corporate Health Strategies, an industry pioneer and the healthcare informatics subsidiary of Metropolitan Life. He is a graduate of Allegheny College and received the Masters of Public Health degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the Boston University School of Public Health.
