E.A.R.L.® (Empowered Analysis and Reporting Log) is the centerpiece of MDI Viewpoint Analytics, our innovative reporting, analysis and visualization application.
E.A.R.L.® uses a patient's medical history—including diagnoses, claims and pharmacy information—to create an interactive visual representation of the human body. With user-friendly graphical analysis, medical professionals, benefits managers and wellness specialists can review and assess complex health data at a glance, making better decisions in their healthcare planning.
The interactive body exhibit features illustrations of the patient's major organs, bones and other systems. Color codes represent diagnoses by location and severity, making high-risk situations and warning signs easy to identify. For greater flexibility, users can toggle from front to back views and icons allow them to select which indicators are visible.
E.A.R.L.® also utilizes MDI's extensive database of more than 2 billion de-identified claims to make evidence-based forecasts of future healthcare costs, high-risk situations and provider treatment assessments. This data can be benchmarked against an employer's other claims, as well as regional and national data to uncover potential patterns in prevention or treatment.
