MDI Technology & Team Featured at Microsoft's MIX10
Every year, Microsoft hosts MIX, a gathering of web designers and developers who are building the worlds most innovative websites. This year members of the MDI development team were invited to join Microsoft as they featured the new Silverlight technology.
Microsoft Silverlight is a powerful development platform and browser plug-in that is used to create engaging user experiences and power interactive web, desktop and mobile applications.
The conference kicked off with a keynote address from Scott Guthrie, Corporate Vice President of Microsoft's Developer Division, highlighting some of the exciting new applications developed using Silverlight. MDI was featured amongst other high profile companies using Silverlight technology to develop cutting edge products/services.
Our team of talented software engineers have helped MDI achieve Microsoft Gold Partner certification and utilize the latest development technologies—like Microsoft Silverlight, SQL Server 2008 Enterprise Server and Sharepoint Server—to create this innovative data visualization tool. E.A.R.L.® uses Silverlight's unique data processing capabilities to present a patient's medical history in a clear graphical representation of the human body. The interactive graphic displays affected organs, bones and body systems by location and severity, making it easy to identify high-risk situations and warning signs.
After the event, our engineers and partners also participated in a special video shoot produced by Microsoft, featuring E.A.R.L.® and Viewpiont Claims Assessment. Microsoft also used these interviews to create an in-depth case study of the application, which is available on the Microsoft Silverlight website.
