Healthcare solutions company awarded a five-year contract to provide medical staffing and credentialing services for federal agencies.
Ponte Vedra, FL – August 20, 2010
MDI, a healthcare solutions company, has been awarded a five-year contract from the General Services Administration (GSA) to provide healthcare staffing services through the Department of Veteran Affairs National Acquisition Center (NAC). The GSA Schedule award offers a fast, easy and effective vehicle for contracting with the federal government.
MDI was awarded the contract to provide healthcare staffing services through the NAC, the largest combined contracting entity within the Department of Veterans Affairs. The NAC is responsible for supporting the healthcare requirements of the VA as well as the needs for other government agencies.
MDI received the award after a complex evaluation and approval process in which the GSA assessed the company’s services, organizational structure, performance history and a variety of other criteria. This process ensures the company is capable of providing effective, efficient and secure services for federal agencies.
“We are very pleased and excited to be awarded the Federal Supply Schedule 621I,” said Matt Richards, President of MDI Government Operations. “This award allows us to expand our service to other government customers and allows contract officers an easy way to access services they need.”
“MDI’s services are in demand, especially in the Federal Departments of Veteran Affairs and Health and Human Services, and we intend to provide them with the same high standards that we’ve set over 18 years of working with the government.”
MDI has been building and managing healthcare networks for federal, state and other related agencies since 1992. Existing networks cover the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Bureau of Land Management, and the Department of Corrections for various states.
This award allows other government customers an easy and effective vehicle for obtaining medical staffing and credentialing services from MDI.
