MDI Employee First Recipient of University of North Florida Award Ponte Vedra, Fla. – Medical Development International (MDI) employee Amy Windover recently received the UNF Health Administration Advisory Board’s 2008 Outstanding Student Award. Windover is the first time recipient of this award, which recognizes academic excellence in the study of health administration. Windover, currently pursuing a Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree at UNF, also received $1,000 as part of the award. “I am honored to be the first recipient of this award,” Windover said. “I am also privileged to complete my MHA in a program that is actively supported by the local health care community.” In addition to maintaining a 4.0 grade point average in the MHA program, Windover is the treasurer for the UNF chapter of Upsilon Phi Delta, a national academic honor society for students in healthcare administration. “Due to the tremendous support and value the company places on education, working for MDI has also greatly contributed to my academic success,” Windover said. Windover has been employed by MDI since October 2006 and was recently promoted to Assistant Manager of Finance and Administration. She is also a member of MDI’s Leadership Development Program, which seeks to develop managerial skills and foster employee growth.
